Established in 1999 with a singular focus on the empowerment of rural communities, CoOptions is in the business of providing services for large rural communities in India. We establish sustainable and scalable business services by empowering the rural hubs called PACS (Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies”)

Using PACS as grass-root level financial ‘hubs’, CoOptions has implemented an IT enabled solution Pax@2002at 139 PACS in the districts of Krishna, West Godavari, Chittoor and Nizamabad in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India to service 500,000 farmers. This project has brought about transparency and significant operational efficiencies of the PACS operations.

The Government of India is committed to increase inflow of credit to agriculture, especially to small and marginal farmers. The Task Force of Vaidyanathan Committee designed an integrated revival package to make the PACS autonomous, market driven and thereby enabling commercial banks to deliver Credit through this channel.
CoOptions has taken advantage of the autonomy of the PACS and is scaling-up this scheme in 2,750 PACS in 23 districts covering 1 crore ( 10 Million) farmer members on an exclusive 10 year contract with the GoAP, thereby implementing the revival package.

CoOptions, along with the other partners of the Industry – Banking, Insurance, Procurement, etc., introduces a host of financial services at the PACS – namely Credit, Insurance, etc. on a transaction based revenue sharing model with the PACS.

In the urban space, CoOptions has developed solutions for Water Utilities and Urban Local Bodies (ULB) for national and international deployment. Over the years CoOptions has developed a number of frameworks for rapid development and deployment of solutions.
"Farmer Cooperatives have accepted, absorbed and are using sophisticated technology in their day to day business," Dr.C.Rangarajan complimented CoOptions.
