CoOptions is a pioneer, both in conceptualizing IT solutions and implemented them,
at the base of the economic pyramid. CoOptions’ products and solutions form a platform for bridging the existing gaps and bringing market efficiencies in agricultural
and financial sectors. We focus on stream-lining processes, increasing the reach
and reducing the costs of transaction in agricultural credit and micro finance.
We had identified Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) as grass-root
level financial and business ‘hubs’. CoOptions has a very large pilot “Karshaka Pragathi”
running for the last five years in the state of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
This project resulted in the creation of a database of the credit history of about
500,000 farmers.
In the urban space, CoOptions has developed solutions for Water Utilities and Urban Local Bodies (ULB) for national and international deployment.
Over the years, CoOptions has developed a number of frameworks for rapid development
and deployment of solutions.
Beyond software development, CoOptions has a proven track record in deploying IT
