In this project, UNICEF, India, has partnered with CoOptions to harness ICT (Information and Communication Technology) to achieve their goals for improvement in the following areas: women’s health, new born care and development of children in the early years.

CoOptions used its proprietary framework to develop a multimedia application to disseminate information on women’s health, antenatal care and services, new born care, child development during the early years including nutrition and immunization. The information is delivered via audio narrative, pictures and video clips in multiple languages. The application was accessible to to even non-literate or semi-literate women who could understand the information and use it for their needs.
